SNO glacier water from Iceland has earned third-party certification from NSF Intl.
The water received NSF’s certification, indicating it has met NSF’s compliance standards, assuring consumers that this product has undergone extensive product testing and analysis, including a complete evaluation of every aspect of its development.
“We’re honored to have received certification from this prestigious organization that serves the public in much the same way as the [U.S.] Environmental Protection Agency or the Food and Drug Administration,” said a representative from Iceland Glacier Wonders.
The certification assures consumers that SNO has met NSF’s high standards of consistent compliance.
Dietary Supplement News (DSN) recently gave SNO its highest rating for purity and, in particular, for containing zero nitrates, unlike many popular bottled waters, which contain various levels of nitrates. According to DSN this could make SNO “the purest water on the planet.”
SNO™, Iceland Glacier Water ‘The Purest Bottled Water On The Planet,’ Attains Another Quality Benchmark–NSF® Certification
ANN ARBOR, Michigan, May 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — SNO™ glacier water from Iceland, already rated “purest water on the planet,” has chalked up yet another third-party certification, this one from the highly-respected National Sanitation Foundation (NSF).
SNO (www.drinksnowater.com) received NSF’s certification, symbolizing it has met NSF’s stringent compliance standards assuring consumers this product has undergone extensive product testing and analysis, including a complete evaluation of every aspect of SNO’s development.
“We’re honored to have received certification from this prestigious organization that serves the public in much the same way as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), said Iceland Glacier Wonders.
The certification assures consumers SNO has met NSF’s high standards of consistent compliance.
Dietary Supplement News (DSN) recently gave SNO its highest rating for purity and in particular for containing zero nitrates, unlike most popular bottled waters, which contain various levels of nitrates. According to DSN this could make SNO “the purest water on the planet.”
DSN described SNO also as the best tasting of all bottled waters tested as “it is naturally filtered through layers of volcanic lava rock, giving it purity, natural balance and crisp clean refreshing taste.”
“SNO is vastly different from all other bottled waters,” said DSN, “which are basically spring waters derived from underground sources.”
SNO, on the other hand, comes from on high, from a 20,000-year old legendary Iceland Glacier, so it’s likely the cleanest, purest drinking water from a pristine source and an unpolluted pre-historic time.
“You’ll not only enjoy its delicious taste of SNO, but you’ll be treating your body to unique benefits, such as SNO’s high oxygen content, healthy 7.4 pH, pure mineral balance TDS 52 and zero nitrates,” said Iceland Glacier Wonders.
Being the only true glacier water sourced from above ground, SNO cannot be contaminated by fertilizer run-off from farm-land that seeps into underground aquifers. DSN observed there is evidence high nitrate concentrations in infants can be deadly and may cause Blue Baby Syndrome.
Currently SNO is sold in the UK and places like Dubai and served at fine hotels and restaurants in Europe; also at fine stores like Harrods and some luxurious hotel spas in the U.S.

Dietary Supplement News Praises Icelandic Glacier Water
BOCA RATON — Dietary Supplement News (DSN) said the Icelandic glacier water SNO(TM) has earned its highest G4 rating not so much for what it has, but for what it lacks–nitrates.
DSN said SNO containing zero nitrates was found to be the purest among all bottled waters tested as opposed to many of the leading bottled spring waters, which contain various levels of nitrates. SNO is naturally filtered through layers of volcanic lava rock, giving it the purity, natural balance and crisp clean refreshing taste.
“If nitrates are one supplement you’d rather do without in your drinking water, you might consider licking a 20,000-year-old Icelandic glacier or just picking up a six-pack of SNO, the ultimate pure water that comes from an Icelandic glacier,” said DSN editor Adrienne Mazzone.
While it’s important to your health to drink lots of water, DSN along with a growing number of nutritionists, scientists and environmentalists are noticing that most bottled spring water contains rising levels of nitrates.
‘SNO(TM)’ doesn’t come from below ground like spring water, but from a 20,000-year old Icelandic glacier, said Mazzone, so it’s the cleanest, purest water from a pristine source and an unpolluted, pre-historic time. Currently it’s sold in the UK and places like Dubai and fine hotels and restaurants in Europe and stores like Harrods, and should be on supermarket shelves in the U.S. by late December, she said.
Being a Glacier Water sourced from above the ground, SNO therefore cannot be contaminated by fertilizer run-off from farm-land into underground aquifers contaminating the water source. There is evidence that High Nitrate concentrations in infants can be deadly and may cause what’s known as Blue Baby Syndrome.
According to DSN, SNO has a pH 7.4, TDS 52 (neutral); is a “structured” water, high in Oxygen, safe for infants and is sustainable, green, CarbonNeutral(R).
SNO has a near-perfect, body-neutral pH level of 7.4 to help the body reach and maintain a state of equilibrium (a neutral pH).
Drinking SNO regularly may help reduce risk of diseases that can be brought about by an unbalanced pH level and with its high oxygen content (13.3 mg/L with DO of 111.1% at 7.8degC), it can quickly add extra oxygen to the blood.

TransMedia Group To Publicize U.S. Launch of Premium Bottled Iceland Glacier Water—‘SNO’™
BOCA RATON, FL.–Even if the weather outside is frightful, TransMedia Group promises to make publicity delightful for U.S. launch of premium Iceland Glacier water SNO™ www.drinksnowater.com
“We intend to let it SNO™ this winter in supermarkets nationwide,” said Tom Madden, CEO and occasional PR weatherman at TransMedia Group (www.transmediagroup.com). SNO™ is the brand name of the 100 percent natural, ultra premium glacier water from Iceland.
“Our goal is to make SNO™ universally known as the planet’s finest drinking water with nothing added, nothing taken away, only what nature majestically created over 20,000 years ago,” said Madden.
Iceland Glacier Wonders (IGW) imports SNO™ from Iceland’s famous Eyjafjallajokull glacier, formed when the world was pristine, unspoiled and unpolluted. IGW selected TransMedia Group for its creativity and success in launching products, including unique beverages like Celsius.
Our publicity will underscore IGW message that it’s not about drinking more and more water; but drinking a more balanced structured natural water , like SNO glacier water to help move water into your cells and cleanse them; so they can function fully and stay healthy.
SNO™ comes from the 20,000 year-old Eyjafjallajokull glacier in Iceland. It is naturally filtered by volcanic lava rock, remains untouched in its capture from the glacier source and as a result will effectively do what very few waters can do today, which is re-hydrate and repair cell damage caused by dehydration. SNO™ does so because it is a natural unaltered water , a structured water , with ideal TDS (69.
Our publicity will also show that water usually contains anywhere between 3 to 9 mg/L (milligrams per liter) of dissolved oxygen. Municipal tap water in most large cities usually contains 5 to 7 mg/L. Most bottled water may have even lower amounts, some-times as low as 4 or 5 mg/L. SNO™ is proven to have high oxygen content (close to 13.3 mg/L). That means it quickly adds extra oxygen to the blood. Drinking SNO™ can be an effective way to increase the body’s oxygenation to help achieve stronger immune system, greater mental awareness and better ability to detoxify.
The pH level is a measure of acidity or alkalinity. SNO™ has the natural, near perfect, body-neutralizing pH of 7.9 .
The Nitrate levels in drinking water are considered an absolute indicator of overall water quality, along with bacterial infiltration and the presence of chemical toxins. With SNO™ these categories including Nitrate are ND ( Non-detected).
